Every child deserves a chance to grow up healthy, learning and safe. Yet millions of children are left behind because of who they are or where they’re born. Tragically, many girls are forced to leave school too soon, marry too young and grow up too fast. Refugee children are living in fear, far from home and without the education they deserve. Life is no doubt hard for these children.

We’re on the ground helping create a fair chance for all children. And we’ll continue to do whatever it takes to help the children. Fortunately, there is a system in place today that provides for these children and gives them access to some of the essentials of life such as food, clothing, shelter and education.

Gausia Academy’s Help the Children Programs aims at providing a haven for needy children to grow up and pursue their talents in order to become successful.

We reach out to the following:

• Orphans


• Children affected by violence, alcoholism, abuse, neglect and abandonment.


• Children who are losing the joys of childhood to the effects of extreme poverty in informal settlements and in worker communities.


• Refugee children suffering the effects of political violence experienced in their war-torn countries. Many of these children have experienced a traumatic and unstable childhood and have lost parents and family members.

A few important features of the program include:

• Educating children to study their way out of poverty and become leaders in the society.


• Extra-curricular activities in addition to studies to help them develop mentally and physically outside of school


• Providing the needy children with proper health care, routine check-ups and immunisations


• Adequate shelter arrangement either at an orphanage or with a family


• Proper mentoring provided to children with emotional issues and any other developments


• Psychological support for children who have been victims of disaster or suffering
